We, Dr. Silvan Hürlimann, Dr. Markus Bill and Anne-Catherine E. Sturzenegger, MLaw, are joining forces and pooling our experience. We have been providing our legal services in the law firm Turicum Legal Ltd., Zurich, since April 1, 2022, and look forward to advise and represent both our existing and new clients in all legal matters.

The focus of our engagement is the analysis of complex legal and economic problems and their solutions in an advisory and/or forensic way. As experienced attorneys-at-law, we take the lead and overall responsibility for the flawless solution process and, if necessary, involve the best legal and business specialists from the networks we have built up over decades. Depending on the extent of the matter, we make use of an individually assembled, tailor-made, efficient, high-quality but always cost-conscious team.

Expertise, experience and empathy

Dr. Silvan Hürlimann LL.M.

Dr. Silvan Hürlimann was admitted to the bar and notary public of the Canton of Zug in 2001 and subsequently worked as an attorney-at-law and notary in Zug. Prior to that, he worked as a legal advisor in an international OSCE mission. After further studies at a renowned American law school and obtaining the LL.M. degree, Dr. Silvan Hürlimann was awarded the degree of Dr. iur. in 2006 with a doctoral thesis on Insider Trading.

From 2003 to 2007, Dr. Silvan Hürlimann worked at the law firm Bill Isenegger Ackermann Ltd. in Zurich and subsequently worked as an independent attorney and partner in a commercial law firm in Zurich from 2007 to 2019. In 2020, he founded SH Legal Group Ltd., which was renamed to Turicum Legal Ltd. as of April 1, 2022.

Dr. Markus Bill

Dr. Markus Bill studied at the University of St. Gallen in the 1980s, earned his first credits as a clerk at the District Court of Baden in the Canton of Aargau and was subsequently admitted to the bar. During his three years at the tax office of the Canton of Aargau, he built up his expertise in the field of tax law and then wrote his doctoral thesis on tax law. After his stays abroad in the United States and Germany in the early 90’s, he started working as an attorney in a Zurich law firm.

From 1995 to 2016, he was a partner at the law firm Bill & Isenegger Ltd (previously Bill Isenegger Ackermann Ltd). After his five-year detour as legal counsel at the law firm Voser Attorneys at Law, Baden in the Canton of Aargau, he has now returned to Zurich to focus his legal practice in the heart of the economy on “sticking points” of legal and business life.

Anne-Catherine E. Sturzenegger, MLaw

Anne-Catherine E. Sturzenegger, MLaw, worked during her law studies at the University of Basel, among others, as a legal employee at a private bank in Basel, as a tutor for inheritance law at the Law Faculty of the University of Basel and as a short-term intern at a commercial law firm in Basel. She obtained her Master’s degree in Law from the University of Basel in 2019 and subsequently worked as a trainee in a large, internationally oriented commercial law firm in Zurich.

After further internships at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft, Department of Administrative and Constitutional Law as a law clerk, as well as at the Civil Court of Basel-Stadt as a law clerk, she was admitted to the bar of the Canton of Basel-Stadt after passing the bar exam in 2021.

She joined Turicum Legal Ltd. in April 2022 as an attorney in an advisory and litigation capacity.
